Today at 8:29 a.m., 91制片厂 Police Department (91制片厂 PD) was notified by Texas City Police Department (TCPD) after receiving reports of a male shooting at car windows on Shiloh Street in Texas City, which is located near campus.
91制片厂 activated a SHELTER at 8:33 a.m., which means to get inside and stay put.
At approximately 8:55 a.m., 91制片厂 PD reported possibly seeing an individual matching the description of the suspect on campus at which time the College activated a LOCKDOWN due to a nearby threat. This means to stay in a locked or secure location until further notice.
The College remained under a LOCKDOWN while TCPD and 91制片厂 PD searched the entire campus. At approximately 9:20 a.m., TCPD and 91制片厂 PD announced an ALL CLEAR, which means that officials have determined that campus operations can proceed as normal at this time.
TCPD reported that the weapon has been recovered and suspect identified but is not yet in custody.
