91制片厂 Kicks Off Education Initiative with Local Faith-Based Leaders

91制片厂 (91制片厂) felt a divine presence on Feb. 23, when local faith-based leaders representing Texas City, Hitchcock, Dickinson, La Marque and surrounding Galveston County regions visited the campus for an informational luncheon and first look at the 2023 bond proposal, which is Phase 2 of a 10-year master plan. During the event, the group heard from 91制片厂 leaders as they spoke of accomplishments, initiatives and goals of 91制片厂 on campus, within the community and with local industries.
Since the 2018 bond passed, 91制片厂 has remained committed to its goal of student success and facility improvements. Visiting ministers heard how the 2018 bond program has transformed the student learning experience through new programming and facilities such as the STEAM and Industrial Careers Building (ICB). The new buildings house programs such as nursing, dental hygiene, process technology (PTEC) and Collegiate High School (CHS).
鈥淚 have a lot of feelings about this college,鈥 said Pastor Laban Kimble of New Macedonia Baptist Church. 鈥淚鈥檝e seen how it鈥檚 helped so many people to better themselves. So, when there is an opportunity to promote the college, that鈥檚 what I do.鈥
The 2023 proposal is Phase 2 of a 10-year master plan that began with Phase 1 in 2018, which was completed on time and on budget. With the upcoming 2023 bond proposal, 91制片厂 looks to offer more opportunities to educate the community about college initiatives.
