91制片厂 Invites the Community to Celebrate Black History Month
91制片厂 (91制片厂) invites the community to celebrate Black History Month in February with two special events. 鈥淚 Am Black History鈥� will take place Tuesday, Feb. 3, followed by 鈥淏lack History Centennial: 100 Years of Change, 60 Years of 91制片厂munity鈥� on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Both events will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the 91制片厂 Conference Center. The events are free and open to the public, and lunch will be provided while supplies last.
Kicking off the celebration on Feb. 3, 鈥淚 Am Black History鈥� will feature a presentation and activity by 91制片厂 Student Life Director Fred Hodges, who will share his personal journey while highlighting influential Black icons throughout history.
On Feb. 24, 鈥淏lack History Centennial: 100 Years of Change, 60 Years of 91制片厂munity鈥� will feature guest speaker Lawanda Ward of the Nia Cultural Center, along with a live wax museum showcasing influential Black history icons, including Angela Davis, Thurgood Marshall and others.
